Ahanu and Nana
I am in Ashland Oregon for my grandson's graduation. And to be able to wake up pain free after a week of treatments,
This is the first time in 3 years I have seen all 3 of my grandsons together. The warmth of the love takes the chill out of my bones. I am not used to cold and damp anymore, but the sun came out today and the strength of the green is amazing and beautiful

I have been suffering from compressed vertebrae in my neck and resulting nerve pain. When the pain was less, I worked on this piece. I am not sure about it. It may be over worked. What do you think?
I am going to the States for 2 weeks for a grandson's high school graduation. A change of scene and some healing Lomi Lomi from my son-in-law will be welcome.

A one-day beauty greeted me this morning when I went to the terrace to water my raised vegetable garden.

I added skin tones to her face. What do you think? Is is an improvement?

Thinking of Daises 12" x 12"

Pensive, 6" x 6"
This has been an interesting week. It has taken 5 days to move my website to another hosing service; the timing belt on my car broke and my camera has been "removed" from my home. It was sitting next to my computer Wednesday. After some workmen left, I couldn't find my camera. I am using my iPod touch to photograph the new work. Not the greatest photos, but amazing to me that they are as clear as they are.

This first piece was one I did 12 years ago when I was just beginning in encaustic. the figures were painted in oil and I covered most of the background with encaustic over color and laboriously carved in the patterns.

This second painting, I finished yesterday.
