Progress of a painting

I have begun a new series and decided to photograph the work after each day in the studio. Here is day one. I am using encaustic and charcoal.

    Oh MY! Your first day! I would still be on the base layer. It's going to be fabulous, Ezshwan. I look forward to seeing it's evolution.

    Actually, I did take a couple of days to get the smooth, clear encaustic medium on the board before I started the actual painting.
