I finished several painting that I have been working on for a couple of weeks. The layered oil and encaustic are tricky because I need to give them time to cool and clear before more scraping and fusing.

My favorite is "Whispers". Really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow I really love "Tripping the Light Fantastic"! I love all the energy in that piece and the name is perfect! Connie :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I still am challenged by the "dry" spots that don't take the clear encaustic the first three layers. I am using either a milk paint (only on plain wood) or plaster as a base for the oil paint.
ReplyDeleteThe process is a test of patience.Lot of scraping and fushing.
