I had been doing so much on-line work - setting up my images on artists' site, etc. and teaching, that I haven't spent much time in the studio. I did finish this small painting, 6" x 6".
Ode to a Butterfly - I like that. This like most of my encaustic paintings has gone through many changes. I feel the original layers are not lost. They become part of the building blocks of the final painting.
Love this one..it reminds me of metamorphosis or "ode to a butterfly"
