recent work

 Layers of Expression, 22" x 32"
Whispers #2, diptych, 32" x 26"
Embolden, 24" x 24"
Tripping the Light Fantastic, 23 1/2" x 16" This last one took off and claimed its own life
I finished several painting that I have been working on for a couple of weeks. The layered oil and encaustic are tricky because I need to give them time to cool and clear before more scraping and fusing.

  3. Thank you. I still am challenged by the "dry" spots that don't take the clear encaustic the first three layers. I am using either a milk paint (only on plain wood) or plaster as a base for the oil paint.
The process is a test of patience.Lot of scraping and fushing.
