New encaustic painting

I scraped an older painting down to the board and made this one. I feel it will be a start to a new series of nest/egg paintings.
Thank you Roberta. After the workshop I am giving Monday and Tuesday, I will make a few more birds' nest painting, but much smaller. I like the build up of the texture using the hot pen against the smooth background.
I like these very much.
