private encasutic class

 Jannet from Toronto Canada came to my studio yesterday for an advanced technique workshop. She decided that she wanted me to show her as many techniques as possible in our 5 hours together, rather than work on her own paintings.
 So we covered transfers using acetone; easy laser transfers from parchment paper; using water sprays to create lava-like textures; carving; molding encaustic shapes; oil glazes; using charcoal; India ink, drawing on rice paper and embedding; hot pen drawing with encaustic and more.

Jannet took lots of notes and studied the hundreds of photos of participants' work in scrapbooks that I keep.
